24 July 2012 A Report Based on a Survey Regarding TV Viewing Habits of IPG Kampus Darul Aman Students This is a report drop anchor on the survey regarding TV viewing habits of IPG Kampus Darul Aman. The survey carried by Jawatankuasa Perwakilan Pelajar(JPP) on 14 July 2012. Based on the survey, some moderate trends and habits were seen clearly. Different students showed different preference for different coursemes. The statistics revealed that respondents spent an decorous of 3 hours reflexion tv during weekdays, while their viewing sentence during weekends was 5.5 hours and 6.3 during holidays. They spent fewer hours notice TV on weekdays because of assignments,studies and program activities with little time to do so. During weekends and holidays,however, students seem to prefer ceremony television to other forms of relaxation like reading, socializing, and going for family outings. This indicates that this arthritic trend, if left unchecked, can have negative repercussions. According to the survey, students viewed movies and dramas the alone about about 45 per centime of the respondents preferable watching movies and dramas. These movies and dramas were usually screened after 9 p.m. ,by which time students would have entire their provision or revision. A sizeable number, 27 per cent preferred entertainment programmes including game shows, sport programmes and musicals. In addition, intimacy and educational programmes was the third category preferred and was cited by 18 per cent of the respondents. Among the educational programmes preferred were National Geographic and beyond 3000. modern bulletins appeared to be the least watched programmes, with altogether a measly 10 per cent opting to watch them.
